There are a myriad of wonderful websites that have intricate instructions on how to search. Hence, I do not intend to reinvent the wheel and create a complex search guide on my blog.
I am not a statistician and quite honestly, I am not fond of or particularly adept at numbers. Actually, I am pretty lousy with numbers. Plus, I do not really care that much about statistics. Another problem with offering statistical adoption data is the fact that there is not a great deal of reliable, consistently reported and recorded data available about adoption searches. I can direct you to a few places that offer some data if you have an interest in such details.
There are also any number of adoption news services which provide adoption search and reunion articles as they surface on a timely basis. Consequently, I will not be including every story that comes across the wires. I will share some reunion stories that I find of particular interest or those which are the most poignant or unusal.

As far as open records legislation, again, I can refer you to places that can constantly update you on the progress of legislation. However, I won’t be announcing "alerts" about bills coming up for votes. Well, maybe once in awhile, but, not on a regular basis. If some sort of open records legislation passes in a state, I will probably feel compelled to mention it though.
So, that is a pretty fair assessment of what I do not intend to blog about. I am open to suggestions if someone has a burning need or desire to know about something specific though. Otherwise, I will go with my instincts and blog about those subjects nearest and dearest to my heart. And being a woman, I reserve the right to change my mind!
