Pope John Paul II once said “In the designs of Providences there were no coincidences”

The word synchronicity was actually invented by a Swiss psychologist named CG Jung in 1929. He used the word publicly for the first time in May of 1930 in a memorial address for Richard Wilheim whose life’s work had been the monumental task of translating into German the Chinese Book of Changes. CG Jung was the one who brought the idea of meaningful coincidences to the public’s attention.

The one thing that I have learned through the coincidences that I have experienced is that there is something uncanny about it. It is inexplicable and wondrous but also has an important meaning for me. It has made me even question whether or not that on some level if everything in this world is connected to everything else.

The day I met my husband I knew that we were destined to meet and that we were meant to be together. Love found a way and I believe that it did so through synchronicity. It was like fate through us together. I don’t know if it was our unconscious subliminal steering mechanism that guided us to find one another or if we had a guardian angel, or a spirit of some kind that knows better than us what we need. When we met, I was to the point of thinking and accepting that I would be single forever. I guess I let fate lead the way and my future with my husband began to unfold.
There are things that have happened in my life that no person or thing caused to happen but emerged from no where at the right time. I wonder if synchronicity is connected to events that are preceded by a thought or an idea or a plan of some kind. In hindsight, I wonder if the times that the coincidences that I have mentioned in the blog are an indication of a bond of some kind doe exist.

Is it possible that we have been trained or conditioned to trust only what we experience with our five senses? Is there another part of our mind that things or makes connections that aren’t obvious at first glance? If we use this other part of our mind maybe we are more a free spirit or living with more of an open heart.
