Grrr, not only did I accidentally wipe out a whole blog entry, I deleted one with a comment already. I knew that it would happen eventually!

The Family of Adoption, that's what I had written about. A week or so ago, my husband and I were about to begin watching one of our favorite t.v. shows. The show is called, "Sunday Morning" and of course, that is when it airs. We find it to be a very interesting and entertaining show.

Most of their segments are either human interest pieces or they may discuss art, music, notable people -their topics are varied. At times they may review a movie or two, or discuss a current art exhibit which is currently underway. They present the material in a folksy kind of way that we thoroughly enjoy, and there is enough humor for our taste as well.

One of our favorite parts of the show is a nature segment at the very end. Each week they begin the piece by saying, "We leave you this morning at....." One week they may leave in a park in Alaska looking at bears. Often the setting is a lake or river with assorted birds or wild animals. Often they feature wild flowers and chirping birds. They have some amazing close-up nature photographer whose job I would love to have. For nature lovers, the segment is a treat.

One recent Sunday Morning episode, at the beginning of the show, they announced the segments for that show. I perked up when they announced an interview with rapper DMC, aka Darryl McDaniels. I perked up when they announced an interview with rapper DMC, aka Darryl McDaniels. A few months ago, I had the good fortune to be able to interview DMC via phone. Here's that interview. Although I had heard his story several times, I felt as though a friend was about to tell his story again. I was glued to the screeb and eager to see Darryl's interview, and hear more about his adoption reunion story.
