Just in case you haven't heard enough yet about Madonna's adoption saga, here's more! She really is getting slammed from all sides right about now. A human rights group is even protesting her adoption! For that angle read here.

Then, there are those reports that the father of the boy really did not intend for his son to be adopted.

“I suppose deep in my heart I always imagined that when he was better, or I had got another wife, I would go and take him back,” Banda told the Mail on Sunday. “I did not think anyone would want to take him away.”

Next, we hear that the father of the child says that he is happy that she is adopting him because he will be "escaping poverty".

“The government people told me it would be a good thing for the country. He will come back educated and able to help us.”

The alleged father of little David, who Madonna is reportedly adopting said that his son will know his roots as he has been told that David will come back to the village for visits. David's father says that he looked into Madonna's eyes and could tell that she was a good lady. Home studies, fostering - all those pesky requirements that most adoptive parents must face - lucky Madonna apparently bypassed all that tiresome stuff.

Seriously, did anyone really believe that she was going to live in that African village for a year or so like others who adopt from there do? Can you even imagine doing a "home study" on her home? Let's see, I think her home is probably large enough to accommodate another child.

Lastly, here there is talk in this article of Madonna viewing an African orphan as the latest "hot accessory."

Personally, I thought the video of Madonna dancing around in this tiny African village was pretty comical. What a three-ring circus this whole event has turned into! I swore to myself that I was not going to write about this subject, but it is just too good (or awful) to pass up though!
