The comic "Luann".
Starting on January 22, 2007 the story line for the comic strip is adoption. The story line goes on for several weeks and you can read each day by clicking the link for the next day.
The comic strip is written by Greg Evans and he hits the nail on the head for several issues that he manages to bring up in this series of comics. I have to wonder if he is an adoptee or sibling himself. His realistic twist on adoption search and reunion is well presented. Siblings are affected by natural parents being found and this comic strip shows how the feelings and emotions affect the sibling. This comic strip is focused on the adoptee, and a sibling. Natural parents are mentioned, and referred to but the focus is on the sibling aspect.
What I do know about Greg Evans and Luann is that Greg chronicles the joyful discoveries and torturous experiences of adolescence. It seems that Luann has developed a loyal following of readers of all ages in more than 300 newspapers for Luann and the realistic cast of characters.

Greg Evans position is that he has always dealt with serious subjects in Luann and he feels the comic strip can do more than just provide a daily chuckle. His intent isn’t necessarily to detail an ordeal but to explore the ways the issues at hand changes relationships.
