The past few days I have been helping a natural mother with her search for her son. In providing some guidance when it was realize that it was very possible that her son was killed in the tragedy of September 11, 2001.
I was contacted by the natural mother several months ago and she had obtained a database search from www.ameridex.com listing all the males born on her son’s date of birth currently residing in PA.
As she started to do the process of elimination she was unable to eliminate this young man who was the first pilot on flight 75 which was the second plane that crashed into the World Trade Center. Much of the non identifying information she had matched but there were still some discrepancies. We researched public records and news articles but were still unable to include or exclude him.
The natural mother decided a phone call was needed to make the determination. She asked if I would place the call. I gathered all the facts of her son’s birth and information pertaining to his birth, created a “fact sheet” and started making phone calls.
The first phone call I made I thought was to his father’s home. I got an answering machine that said it was the proper residence but the first names didn’t match the first names of who I thought I was calling.
The second phone number I tried was disconnected so it was back to the drawing board. I was trying to locate a phone number for the widow and did but since that time she either moved or had her number disconnected. Understandably after loosing your husband in the events of September 11th, 2001. I can’t even imagine the media harassment she and her family went through. I found a second phone number for her but after doing further research learned this was actually the phone number for the brother of the deceased.
