When I first began posting on this subject, I intended on only one post. However, there are enough interesting blogs to mention, I decided I needed to do at least one more post on the subject.

6. Search and Reunion by Reunited Dan is another new blog for me. His mother declined contact in November of 2005. I have not read too much yet from his blog, but enough to recommend it. The male viewpoing on reunion is less documented, so I am happy to see him blogging on the subject.

7. Reunion Writings by KimKim is the blog of a birth/first mother in Amsterdam who is reunited with L., her only child. KimKim's love for her daughter and the wounds from having lost her daughter to adoption are both abundantly clear in her blog. She's a very creative and spirtual sole. Pugsley, Kim's dog is a frequent photo subject of hers.

8.A Moment in a Thought is another new blog for me, which I found through KimKim. Her magical screen name is "orchidsnowfairy". She is in reunion with her birth mom and interestingly enough, she has decided to call her, "Meemo." I think finding an appropriate name for your birth mother is a common dilemma for adoptees.

9. Daughter of Two Women is another new discovery. One comment in a post of hers that leapt out to me was:

The issue is not whether or not the child will have issues, the issue is whether or not the parents are willing to acknowledge and openly deal with any issues that do, and will, arise.

She discusses in one post her advice to parents considering adopting a child who have concerns because "so many adoptees have issues from their adoption." I think her take on this issue is a very valid one!

10.Mary United is a birth mom who was found by her daughter. Here's how she describes herself:

I am a mother to four children. Three I am raising and one lost to adoption. She found me in April of 2005. It has been an amazing journey so far.. and I expect it will continue to amaze me and her siblings.
